How to Install Windows using a DVD


A DVD is a digital versatile Disk and its a storage media. Windows always comes on a DVD that is only obtained from the authorized distributors and comes with a product key.

Lets go through these steps;
1. Obtain a copy of windows DVD from an authorized distributor. It can be any version of your interest or that which can meet your need. There are a number of versions such as Windows xp, Vista, windows 7, 8,10.

2. Get the computer that requires a fresh windows copy and it has to be meeting the minimum requirements. By this it should have enough storage capacity, the processor architecture, the memory size DVD ROM among others as listed on the Microsoft website

3. Insert the Windows DVD obtained in the drive and restart your computer

4. Press the F-keys and go to the BIOS Setup. It can be F2, F12 depending on the manufacturer of the computer. Change the boot sequence and set the the DVD drive as your primary booting device.

5. It will prompt you to "press any key to boot from the drive......", press the key and proceed to the main window for installing windows.

6. Follow the prompts and format the drive, create partitions and allow the the operating system to be installed in your primary partition.

It works on windows 7, 8 and 10

Insatalling Windows from Flash Drive

Technology has indeed brought us from a far and now things that we think of can really become real and applicable.
Previously you had to have a working CDROM in order to install windows on a computer but today a lot of options have been availed to install windows.

Requirements:
1. Windows image .ISO
2. Flash drive at least 4GB

Step 1:
If you have an image then you are good to go but if not then you should first of all get a windows DVD and a working computer with operating system.
Use other tools to convert the files from the DVD into an ISO image such as PowerISO, MagicISO, ISO Maker etc...

Step 2:
Download Windows USB/DVD Download Tool from Microsoft website which will prepare your USB and makes it Bootable with windows. Its just straight forward and it can just get the work done in a minutes.
Your windows will be directly put on the USB and just ready for your installation.

Step 3:
Put the flash in your computer and reboot it. Press the functional keys to access the set up and then change the sequence of booting. These functional keys differ depending on the make of your computer. It can either be F2, ESC, F12, F10 or F11
Select Boot from USB Drive.

Step 4:
Press any key to boot from USB Device............This step shows that the computer is ready to get a fresh copy of windows and from here just go through the steps of installing windows
